Northgate Internships
The workforce is rapidly developing and education must adapt to meet these changing demands. In order to best prepare future workers for the demands they will face, we need to equip our students with the skills they will need to succeed. Northgate's Internship Program aims to provide students the opportunities to learn universal skills they will need in work environments that interest them.
We offer Internships as Elective credits to 12th-grade students who want to get hands-on work experience in a career field they are interested in. Students must complete 120 working hours in order to receive 1 Elective credit and are able to earn between 1 and 4 Elective credits throughout the year. For a student to be eligible to participate they must be on track to graduate, have excellent attendance and work ethic, and submit a resume and letter of interest.
